Metropolitan Industries Recognized for Outstanding Business Achievements
Earns Microsoft Dynamics® Award Excellence in Innovation—Microsoft Dynamics SL

LANDFALL Solutions is pleased to announce their customer, Metropolitan Industries, was recognized by Microsoft® with a 2010 Microsoft Dynamics Customer Excellence Award for Excellence in Innovation Microsoft Dynamics SL and will be honored by Microsoft executives at an awards luncheon on Sunday, April 25, at Convergence 2010 Atlanta, the premier Microsoft Dynamics user conference.
The 2010 Customer Excellence Awards, which are presented in 18 categories, recognize and celebrate Microsoft Dynamics customers that have achieved notable accomplishments using LANDFALL Solutions Navigator, FlexForm in combination with Microsoft Dynamics SL.
Metropolitan Industries was recognized for its strong commitment to innovation. Working with Microsoft Dynamics certified partner LANDFALL Solutions of Wheaton, IL, Metropolitan Industries has consolidated three service departments with three disparate management systems into a single department with one platform, one process and one workflow.
This consolidation improved data quality and allows technicians in the field to access similar work orders from similar service calls to better prepare them for their service calls. This has reduced the number of trips to a customer location, cut down on the time it takes to complete a service call, and decreased customer down time.
Finally Metropolitan has been able to maintain their company hallmark of exceptional customer service with 10% less staff which has had a significant impact on their bottom line.

Established in 1997, the Customer Excellence Awards are awarded each year at the Convergence user conference in the United States. Microsoft Dynamics customers, partners and team members submit nominations. Judging teams for each of the 17 categories rated nominations on category specific criteria. Proposed winners for each category were then presented and reviewed by a panel of Microsoft executive judges for final approval. As part of that final review winning customers were chosen, including the Overall Excellence Award winning customer.
