Overview of a Detailed Project Plan

Planning

We work with you to develop strategic goals, detailed requirements, project schedules and other overall project planning details.

 

Analysis

Conduct detailed meeting with client staff and document the findings of meetings.

 

Design

We collaborate with your team to create detailed requirements documents to define the scope and features of your project.

 

Construction

During this phase we configure your solution for testing and approval.  Typically our goal is to involve your staff as much as possible.  We prefer to take a coaching approach to help your staff become self sufficient on as much of the system configuration as possible.

 

Prototype

We work with your staff to build an initial prototype of your system based on detailed requirements.  This allows your staff to quickly get a feel for how your system will function.  Invariably clients discover new capabilities or needs during this process.  By uncovering new topics before going live, you will end up with a more complete solution based on the input of your staff.

 

Construct Your Solution

Using detailed requirements and results of the prototyping process we will work with your staff to configure, customize, and if necessary, program the final implementation.  Our goal will be to involve your staff in this process to take advantage of the opportunity for them to learn how to configure the system.

 

Testing & Approval

 

 

 

 

 

LANDFALL will work with your staff to review and approve the results of your implementation.  We firmly believe that it is important for you to see results and approve the final processes prior to going live.  This will give you and your staff confidence that the system will perform as intended when the system is in production.

 

Process and Technical Documentation

LANDFALL will develop documentation throughout the entire process of implementing your solution.  From our first meeting gathering initial requirements, we take great care to note requirements and review with your staff to confirm our understanding of your requirements.  By completing documentation during every step of the process, you will end up with very complete process, technical and user documentation.  

 

Go Live

After approval of your staff and management we will work closely with you to ensure a successful process of launching your solution.  After all of the steps taken to ensure a successful launch of your system, most of the time the process of going live is rather uneventful.  That's because we have collectively been diligent and prudent about the process.  To be sure situations can arise, but we'll be standing by to ensure your success.

 

Training We will work with your management team to determine the best approach for training.  In the long run, your staff needs to know the system on a daily basis.  Our goal is for you to achieve self sufficiency.  There are many creative ways to handle training.  We will work with you to exploit online resources, remote, just in time training and even will help your staff to conduct the training. 
Go Live Testing   During the process of going live, we will work to help establish the key areas that should be reviewed to verify a successful transition.  Immediate testing of results is critical to ensure all necessary steps are completed properly resulting in a successful launch.
Go Live LANDFALL will work with your staff to see through all of the details necessary to ensure you and your staff are confident with the results after going live.
Project Approval We will hold a post conversion meeting to review results and confirm your approval of the installation
Ongoing Support We are committed to your long term satisfaction.  We will remain available to support your system on an as needed basis.  Due to the nature of today's solutions, many implementations go live without need for routine assistance.  We will provide as much or as little support as you require.
